For Sale: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in Lutz, Florida

Vehicle Description

A true iconic 1957 Bel Air hardtop freshly finished in a slick silver with a nice V8 and some cool performance upgrades. Oh yeah, you're looking at a distinct icon on wheels.

This '57 Chevy was completed in a stunning Silver Gray Metallic. It's a recent and professional application where you can see they invested in prep time and quality. So all the panels that everyone know so well now have a terrific radiance every time the sunlight hits this hardtop. It's the kind of presentation that makes this iconic classic feel like it has its own gravity. They even added new bumpers (front & rear) and new hood rocket trim to rival the paint for shine. Plus, all the other iconic pieces - from the gold anodized badging to the fan-like tailfin trim - is complete and likely original. So the whole car has a genuine and crisp look and feel. Plus, we know you love the added hints of aggression with the Chevy FI racing flags and upgraded Rally wheels with spinner center caps.

Inside, the black vinyl and textured gray on the button-top seats has a nice classic appearance. And the color theme is carried on the dash, carpeting, and custom door panels for a nice uniform total package. Even the upgraded AM/FM digital tuner has a nice vintage appearance. But more than just a classic style, they also went for a performance feeling. The upgraded wood & chrome sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, dash-mounted Sun Super Tach, and floor shifter all make this feel like a powerful Chevy.

Under the hood is a 283 cubic-inch small block. That was the largest V8 displacement available in '57, and so this has a nice feeling of history. But just like the upgraded shining paint on the outside, they also didn't let tradition stand in the way of progress. The consignor states the motor was rebuilt around 2,000 miles ago, and it also has added performance upgrades like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust. Because this V8 fires up so nicely, you'll want to enjoy this classic out on the open road. And the three-speed automatic transmission and power brakes w/disc up front upgrades allow you to do that to the fullest.

This is the true icon that shines even brighter today. So you know you love this '57 Bel Air hardtop. Call today!!!
