Since posting this ad, at the request of some inquiries, we put a new battery in the car and it turned over with no trouble at all so we know the engine is not locked up. It might just take new fluids and plugs to get it running.
This was my dad’s car that he bought around 1980 and restored a few years later. It was always stored in the garage and ran great until he stopped driving it in 2004. It has been in the garage ever since.
The car is fully loaded with power steering and brakes, power windows, power seats, and air conditioning. I can’t say what it would take to get it running, but I know the car is complete and was in very good working order when he parked it.
The only things I found missing were the two overhead interior light covers and the air conditioning compressor, which I believe was vibrating so he took it out. It may be around the house somewhere, but I have not looked.
The best thing is that while the paint has faded and peeled in spots, the body is very straight and I only saw rust on the rims. I would love to keep it and fix it up myself, but just don’t have the time or the room.
