The Cadillac Eldorado is an all-American classic with a storied
history first starting in the 1950s. With multiple of the 10
generations becoming instant hits and eventually classics, Eldorado
is a household name for many car enthusiasts. Having hopped on the
front-wheel-drive train early on with the sixth-generation Eldorado
in 1967, the FWD layout continued until the Eldorado nameplate
reached its end in 2002.
This 1985 is the final year for the eighth-generation Eldorado, and
is a wonderfully preserved example of how Cadillacs were during
that time period. By this time a relatively small car, this
Eldorado till feels just like a Cadillac should! This example is a
three-owner, one-family vehicle that is unrestored and in
well-maintained, preserved condition. The exterior is in great
overall condition, and period-appropriate upgrades include a
simulated convertible top and a faux continental kit. The white
paint and wire wheel covers are the quintessential Cadillac
combination. Having covered just 50,000 miles since new, it is no
wonder this car is in such great condition.
The interior is perhaps the most impressive part of this car. For
how small it is compared to previous generations of the Eldorado,
Cadillac managed to maintain plenty of interior space and lots of
comfort options. The dark blue leather is a perfect match for the
white exterior, and the seats are so comfortable they really do
show the Cadillac difference. The legroom for front seat passengers
is almost unbelievable, and the lack of a transmission hump due to
the FWD layout is a huge bonus. The seats and all wear items are in
excellently preserved condition showing extremely minimal wear;
exactly what you would expect in a 50,000 mile vehicle.
Under the hood is the original 4.1L Cadillac V8. This car purrs
quietly at idle and accelerates gracefully, as any true Cadillac
should. The 4.1 is very adequate power for this car and the ease of
driving makes this a perfect cruiser. Given the low mileage, this
car handles like its 20 years younger, and rides like you're
sitting on a cloud! Again, exactly what you would expect in a
Cadillac and we just can't get enough of it.
This little Cadillac is clean from top to bottom, inside and out.

consignor(current owner) states this vehicle as such. Given how
easy it is to create a "clone" or "tribute", we cannot guarantee
the authenticity of any and all claims. Customer is encouraged to
verify this information on their own, prior to purchase.
We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and
commercial carriers. Most of which can deliver the vehicle to your
driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays
incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.
Because we advertise each vehicle with so many third-party
affiliates, it is the customer's sole responsibility to verify the
accuracy of the price with the dealer. All advertised prices
exclude local, state, government fees and taxes and dealer
documentation fee. Pricing are subject to change without notice. A
dealer documentation fee of $250 will be added to the purchase
price at the time of sale.
