The Eddie Bauer trim also means you get a comfortable and loaded
cloth interior with just about every feature in the book for 1990.
It includes modern R134a air conditioning, power windows, power
locks, and tilt wheel. The stereo is still the original
AM/FM/Cassette unit that came from the factory, so no need to worry
about any hack-jobs in the dash. A modern classic also means modern
conveniences like push-button 4x4 selection, making the trip
through the mountains more comfortable than usual. The wide center
console offers plenty of storage as well as a handy place to put
your coffee, and the dash is one of the more car-like features of
this big truck. You have a large cargo area and a fold-down
tailgate, so you're probably already imaging roasting campsite
marshmallows while sitting on the back.
Under the hood is a blue oval legend. It's the 5.0L cubic-inch V8,
and it's believed to be original to this Bronco. A history of
stoutness and modern fuel-injection create a terrific power plant
that gives you the muscle you need to get through mother nature as
well as the acceleration you want in town. This same level of
comfort/versatility comes from the push-button 4x4 system with
locking hubs and four-speed automatic transmission with
highway-friendly overdrive. Add in power steering and power front
