This is a very rare Buick Limited Regal Turbo T-Type LC2 for many reasons. Perfect car for a collector wanting the hottest and most unique car made in the 80's.
1. 1987 was the last year to manufacture the popular Grand National and the Turbo T-Type.
2. 1987 was the only year Buick offered the LC2 Turbo T-Type in a Regal and a Limited Regal.
3. 25,000 Grand Nationals manufactured in 1987 only 1500 Regals with the LC2 Turbo T-Type and less then 500 were Limited Regals and less then that had the Landau roof.
4. This Limited Regal Turbo T-Type LC2 was manufactured in June of 1987.
5. 1987 was the end of model production w/ RWD G-Body Regal.
The LC2 Limited vs a Grand National is the LC2 Limited had a higher scale interior package, had the alloy wheels, had the exterior badging, vs the Grand National. LC2 Limited is much more rare then the Grand National and there were only 1500 Regals ever made with the LC2 T-Type, and less then 500 were Limiteds. This is a Limited Regal LC2 Turbo with a charcoal Landau vinyl roof, power bulge turbo hood, by far the rarest of ALL the Turbo Regals, Grand Nationals made. This Limited Turbo T-Type regal was custom ordered and has the original order invoice, we are not aware of another silver with charcoal in existence. All Buick Limiteds were treated to a very luxurious Interior w/ plush carpet, optional leather bench pillow seats, column shifter and the top of the line equalizer stereo system.
Our Limited T-Type has not been driven or started since 2001 because it was my mothers car, and we could not bare to drive it after she passed away. Odometer reads 08609. We are the original owners, we had this one custom made and it has been garage kept. Power windows, power locks, power antenna, column shifter. This car is 100% original, body has no dents, original paint, original leather interior w/pillow top seats, original motor, original carpet, original everything. The paint needs some work and there are some rust spots on the bumpers and the steering wheel. The plastic between the bumpers needs to be replaced. Antenna motor needs to be replaced. Needs new tires.
