Produced at the Ford Plant in Wixom, Michigan, this car sold new in Los Angeles where is benefited from the dry Southern California Climate, In the early 1990s, the car made its way to Canada where it continued pride of ownership and stewardship of this classic convertible. Starting in 2012, the car underwent a complete frame off restoration over a period of 5 years. There are documents and receipts totaling in excess of $60,000 spent on the restoration including the power train, paint and body, stainless and brightwork, suspension, exhaust and the brand new convertible top and mechanisms.
The rebuilt drive-train is original to the car, and it retains the factory interior which attests to the care given to the car over it's nearly 60 years. The convertible top mechanism has a modern electronic relay board from Thunderbird Ranch that powers the top effortlessly. This car will provide years of head turning motoring enjoyment.
