Vehicle Description
The year was 1987 and one of the greatest decades was in full
swing. Pick your version of pop music, or hair metal bands that you
liked, and whethere you admited it or not, you watched Miami Vice
on Friday nights and maybe even wanted to be Don Johnson just a
little bit. It was an awesome decade except for the cars. Ford had
the Mustang barely at 225 HP, Chevy had the Corvette at 240 but was
heavy and slow, and the sun had set on Dodge, Chrysler, and
Plymouth making anything with horsepower. They were in to economy
cars and mini vans. Who would there be to save the day you might
ask..........Buick. THAT'S RIGHT Buick. Just Toys Classic Cars is
proud to present this awesome two owner, original, survivor Buick
Grand National. Just like the old cartoon Mighty Mouse, here comes
Buick shouting, "HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAAAAAAAY!" Yes, the regal
and Grand National had been around since 1982, but this was going
to be the last year for the Grand National because of pressure from
GM that they were making their beloved Corvette look bad. So Buick
turned up the heat and this is what you got. This baby is
recognizable from any angle, you know what it is. This car has not
been repainted. This is a true survivor that looks awesome from 20
feet or 2 feet. All of the rubber trim is in great shape and the T
Tops fit like a glove. When you want to store those tops the
original bags are still in the trunk. As you will see in the pics
the interior is in awesome shape and again, has never been redone.
This car has all the power options you would expect in 1987. Power
windows, locks, and drivers seat, as well as a nice sounding
am/fm/cassette player. This car has been extremely well maintained
and cared for. There are new factory replacement rear speakers that
were installed and we have the ones that it was born with. The
power antenna was replaced and if you know what it takes to do that
then you will appreciate that it is already done. Again, everything
has been very well maintained. Obviously, what is under the hood
between the frame rails is what really matters here. There sits the
infamous 3.8 Liter Turbocharged V6 that this year mad 245 HP and
put your butt in the back of the seat with a whopping 355 lb ft of
torque. This car really cought the world by storm like it wanted to
look at GM and give the Corvette the finger before it was sent out
to pasture. This one just purrs like a kitten until you put your
foot in it then it takes off like a lion. If you have been looking
for one of these for a while then this is your opportunity to make
that happen. We offer classic car financing for those that would
like to take advantage of the option. They offer great rates and
