The Dark Red paint on the car approaches show-quality. The just-detailed paint gleams and shows off the car’s great lines.
The black vinyl top looks like it was installed yesterday and is a great contrast to the car’s red body.
The chrome is in excellent condition, giving a wonderful finish to this Roadrunner.
The underside of the car appears free of rust [other than surface rust].
The upholstery is all in excellent condition from the bench seats to the door panels. The interior looks virtually new.
The 383 V-8 is a HP engine and its date code shows it to be period correct. The motor in this muscle car runs strongly and sounds throaty through its ceramic-coated headers and Flowmaster dual exhaust system.
The A-833 manual 4-speed transmission shifts properly and smoothly as one would expect in this Plymouth high performance car. It is linked to an 8 ¾ Sure Grip posi rear with 3:55 gears.
The 215/75 R15 (F) and 275/60 R15 (R) tires mounted on Pro-Star wheels appear to have most of their tread remaining.
There are seatbelts for all.
The engine/systems monitoring gauges/lights (temperature, fuel, amp and oil pressure) work properly. Similarly, the lights, windshield wipers, patented Beep-Beep horn and turn signals all work.. The in-dash tachometer will require some attention as will the heater fan.
