Vehicle Description
This one-of-a-kind T2 Microbus is the work of Indianapolis artist
Jason Rogers, who shortened the wheelbase and turned the remainder
of the vehicle into a rolling canvas for his murals. The bus'
Grateful Dead theme runs through the exterior and interior of the
vehicle with countless unique touches, including a spectacular roof
panel commemorating the group's 50th anniversary (one of the shows
that the bus attended). The shortened wheelbase is the result of a
bet that Rogers would not be able to cut the bus in half and have
it back on the road within a week, which he won. This is an
award-winning vehicle and is sure to turn heads anywhere it goes.
From the vibrant colors to the 'I see you smilin'' legend in the
windscreen banner, it is a testament to Rogers' goal for his work:
'It overcomes that negative vibe and just puts a smile on your
face...that's what I like to do with my art.' At a show with Cheech
Merin in attendance it won 'Celebrity Choice Best in Show'. Among
the many other awards and distinctions it has earned was an
appearance in a Mid America Motorworks calendar, and it is
consistently a fan favorite at events and shows. The pricing
includes additional work depending on anticipated use. The creating
artist is available to either refresh or add art work (personal or
company logos). There is an additional bus that was intended to be
shortened and turned into a matching trailer that can be combined
into the purchase. The bus has undergone a complete rewiring,
engine rebuild, and overall drive-ability set up currently for
light road use (please note the window tint and consult your local
laws) and parade use. Trades, inspections, and test drives (with
proof of funds or financing) available. Financing (US only) and
shipping (world wide) available. Over 100 pictures available on our
website and video available on request. (true mileage unknown)
