1954 Ford F-1 1/2ton Custom Pick Up DGT0432. VIN. F10D4D20432. 400
Big Block V-8 Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes,
Power Windows, Tilt and Telescopic Cadillac Steering Column. This
truck has had a lot of custom body work done to it, so it's very
unique looking. The roof line has been chopped 2 inches in the
front and 3 inches in the back. The cab has been chopped 4 inches.
The hood has been cut down 5 inches in the back and 6 inches in the
front. The bed and fenders have been raised up 5 inches. This truck
has also been customized with a modern drive train. Now running a
1971 Ford 400 V-8 and a C-6 automatic transmission. The front
suspension and rear end are from a '74 Nova, so it has independent
front suspension, power steering and power brakes. The
customization continues with a power rear window and power cowl
vent. This truck drives great. Many custom vehicles look good, but
don't always drive well, this truck does both. I've driven this
truck about 20 miles so far and I really like the way it handles.
The frame is boxed and reinforced. Dual batteries with shut off
switch. You have to see this truck in person to see all the
fabrication that has been done, I could go on and on. This truck
was built by the previous owner to drive. He completed the work
back in 1992 and the truck still looks great after all the years he
and his wife drove it. He told me that he had this truck up to
120mph and it was still handling great. Now in our new location
