You are looking at a VERY RARE 1928 Ford Model-A Special Business
Coupe. This is a car that resembles a Convertible Cabriolet however
the top is stationary and will not let down. Very similar ones had
oval windows in the rear quarter and the Sport coupe version had a
stationary Landau bar on the side. The business coupe was a
mid-year addition to Ford's Model A line in 1928. A basic
economical car it was first offered with blind rear quarters and a
limited number of color and interior options. The actual production
figures are unclear on these rare little gems. This is a red
steering wheel car that by the VIN number it appears to have been
built in the middle of August in 1928. This one was under
restoration by the previous owner who passed away several years
ago. He had owned it for almost 25 years. It is a very solid car
that has not been modified. It still has the original 4 cylinder
engine and with manual transmission with a rumble-seat! It still
needs some finishing up. We have not had it running yet but hope to
have it running this week. We were told that the engine had been
rebuilt. It has 5 new tires on. It is a very rare find. You can own
