Bus Westfalia Just in time for enjoying the outdoors, Garage Kept
Motors is pleased to offer the classic VW camping experience. This
1973 Volkswagen Type 2 Bus Campmobile comes to us from a
friend/client who's owned the Westy for the past 10 years. During
his ownership, the bus has always been stored indoors and has been
meticulously maintained. This pop-top example is finished in White,
being fully restored in 2001, with orange rimmed wheels that give
it a great look. Wood door panels and faux wood headliner were
installed in the past decade with a new canvas top plus custom
floral side curtains. The van is powered by the desirable 1700ci H4
motor, which is more powerful than the 1600 predecessor, making it
a great highway speed cruiser. It has a 4-speed floor shifted
gearbox with rear-wheel drive. It has an electric choke that makes
the bus extremely easy to start and warm up. It runs and drives
extremely well too. With a folder of receipts and recent plugs,
wires, caps, rotors, and brand new carb assembly installed, this
bus is ready for the open road. The Westfalia pop-up top with cot,
fold-down rear bed, sink, table makes this the perfect vintage camp
mobile. Lots of fun to be had with family and friends. After one
glance, it is clear to see that this bus has been loved by its
owners. We hope it finds a new home with future owners that will do
