pleased to offer this Black on Black Fairlane 500 GT, powered by a
Hi-Rise 427, for consideration. This car was originally owned in
North Carolina, moved to Virginia, and our client acquired it in
2003. It has a full account of ownership history and restoration
receipts. This is a rare example and has been meticulously
maintained by careful owners. The car is finished in factory Rave
Black (code A) over a Black bucket seat interior (code 86). The
original 390 GT motor was replaced by a professionally rebuilt
Hi-Rise 427ci V8 with 490hp and 500 ft/lbs of torque. The block in
a 427 side oiler cross-bolt with a 428 Super Cobra Jet crank shaft,
3.98-inch Stroke. Total displacement is 457.22 cubic inches. Other
specs include Crane Cam .563 lift (intake) 300 duration, two 650cfm
4bbl carbs, Stelling air cleaners, Electric fuel pump, MSD
ignition, original Ford Hi-Rise heads and intake manifold, Dual
2.5-inch aluminum exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, heavy duty top
loader 4-speed with Hurst shifter, 9-inch TractionLoc rear gears,
Nodular Case, 3.50 ratio, 31 spline axles, original Unity
spotlight, and front disc brakes. It is a beautiful, black beast.
In the past year, the car has been fitted with new carbs, Desert
Cool radiator, period correct 427 plug wire set up, and new
American Racing wheels wrapped in new rubber. It is a rare Radio
Delete GT car, but has an aftermarket stereo hidden in the
glovebox. This Fairlane starts, runs, and drives exceptionally
well. The car comes with a literal briefcase of original documents,
promotional material, books, manuals, and thousands in invested
receipts. Bottom line is you could not source and build this nice
of a car, with this kind of performance, for the amount offered
here. It was on the Dyno, reaching 490 horses. An incredible
vehicle at a very reasonable price point. Be sure to check out all
the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call
if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking.
