We've had a lot of nice cars for sale over the years, and this one
definitely takes the podium. This 1961 Chevrolet Impala Bubbletop
2-Door Sport Coupe has been restored and tastefully customized to
the highest finish level we've seen. It is a built not bought
example with no expense spared. It is the definition of mint. Our
client sourced this vehicle from California in 2006, found painted
in non-original black paint. Over the past twelve years, he has
rebuilt this car and it is now finished with just 589 miles
recorded. Keeping true with the color scheme, he had the car
professionally repainted in the original Fawn Beige paint that came
on the car from the factory. Everything else has been upgraded from
original. Varney's Autmotive of Muskegon, MI professionally built
an awesome 409ci V8 motor for this car and hooked it up to a
4-Speed Muncie transmission. It has power steering, four wheel disc
brakes, incredible Vintage Air AC system, and has a 3.55
Posi-traction rear end. The thick folder of receipts documents
thousands invested in upgraded performance parts from steering and
suspension to aluminum heads and a hydraulic camshaft. It has new
glass, new leather seats, and a new digital dashboard as well. The
car fires on command and for the few miles that have been driven,
it is a remarkable driving vehicle. The car has won many local
awards, including a Meguiar's Magnificent Masterpiece Award at
Goodguys PPG Nationals. Bottom line is you will not find a cleaner
Bubbletop Impala on the market. And you certainly couldn't build
this car to this level of perfection at the price we are asking. Be
