This 1964 Impala SS is as nice as they come. Flawless re-paint in its original color of Azure Aqua (GM code 918), near perfect chrome and trim, all new interior and enough original extra parts to fill a '64 Impala trunk...
This real Impala SS is nice enough so that we can let the photos do the talking. Paint was refinished over 15 years ago but you would think it was done yesterday. After 15 years, it looks like new with no bubbling, pitting and barely a mark. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Seats are whiter than white. The chrome surrounding the seats are flawless. The dash is clear and all features and options work like new except the clock. Mileage on the odometer reads 50900 and based on the look on this car, we believe it is accurate and we will state it that way when sold. Features include power steering, power brakes with a new dual master cylinder, motorized wipers, front seat belts, AM-radio with dual antenna and original fender skirts.
The engine is a beautifully smooth 283ci V8 pushing 198hp and it is the original. The original Rochester 2V Carburetor is still on the car as is the 2-speed PowerGlide transmission. Both are smooth as can be. She starts and drives perfectly. The dual exhaust and entire front end are new. Five Coker white wall tires including a spare are also new.
The previous owner was very meticulous with his SS. He found himself changing parts that did not need changing and kept all original parts while accumulating newer ones! Take a look at the photos of the trunk and the boxes that surround it. Original seat covers front and rear look close to new as well as the original door cards yet both were changed. The 4 original wheels are shown as well as the 4 original hubcaps. All are in excellent condition yet they were changed. The cylinder has the original door trim pieces for both sides of the door jambs. A brand new heater core is still in its box yet the heat works great. The larger box has all 6 original tail lights and more. Each tail light has the original '64 markings on them. They are nearly as good as new yet they were changed. I think you get the point... All parts as shown will be included with the sale but we have the right to exclude them at any time.
