Vehicle Description
STK 2581 1989 Jeep Wrangler
American Motors Corp. (AMC) released the Jeep Wrangler 'YJ' in
1986. It was designed to be a more comfortable on-road experience
than its 'CJ' predecessor. Even though it had similar leaf spring
suspension, it handled much better and safer than the CJ due to a
wider track, lower stance, new track-bar suspension links and
anti-roll bars. Our 1989 Jeep Wrangler was the recipient of a
meticulous restoration in 2011. The body, carefully prepped and
re-sprayed in two-stage black, is accented with fender flares, side
steps and ION alloy wheels that mount 15" Delta All-Terrain
radials. The YJ is fitted with a fiberglass hardtop and full steel
doors w/roll-up windows. A new convertible soft-top that stores
neatly behind the rear seat is also included. Vinyl bucket seats
were reupholstered and custom floor mats were installed. Our
Wrangler is equipped with power steering, power disc/drum brakes,
A/C, AM/FM/CD stereo system and a factory gauge package including
tach. This classic Wrangler is powered by a stock AMC 4.2L
straight-six that has never been rebuilt. These dependable engines
were a mainstay of the Jeep brand for years. It is backed by a
5-speed manual transmission and fully functional transfer case that
engages 2WH/4WH/N/4WL. Put this Wrangler in your driveway and be
the envy of your off-road friends. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
