Vehicle Description
Beautiful, custom, and absolutely powerful - this 1957 Chevrolet
3100 pickup is everything you want in a vintage and
attention-grabbing pickup, right down to the A/C interior, upgraded
suspension, and supercharged small-block under the hood.
This truck is going for a shiny first impression. The metallic
green paint has the kind of luster that comes from a modern
clearcoat and a professional hand applying it. Add to this the
bumpers, grille, and trim that shines like new mirrors. And this
full bright package looks particularly good because Chevy's Task
Force pickups have a forward leaning cab that just begs for a
custom aggressive setup like this one. . In fact, this series seems
destine for street rod investment with the wraparound windshield
and extra flair in the fenders (especially the rear). So the
polished American Racing wheel upgrade is exactly right for a truck
like this. And while this is unmistakable an upgraded pickup, they
didn't forget to invest in fresh lumber for the traditional real
wood truck bed.
The interior is both attractive and luxurious with the
cream-colored seat, steering wheel, and headliner look nice against
all the exterior green that returns on the doors and dash. That
upgraded bench also offers the comfort of individual bolstering and
high-back comfort. The dash is clean setup with the air
conditioning controls neatly installed. That really lets you focus
on the full polished tilt steering column, and the bright gauge
panel full of AutoMeter readouts. And as you notice the boost gauge
below the dash, it clues you in on something quite special in the
engine bay.
Under the hood, the color-matched ultra-smooth firewall and inner
fenders really funnel all your attention to the V8 power within.
And there's plenty to look at. After all, not only do you have a
ton of shining components, but there is also the unmistakable look
of serious performance. The 350 cubic-inch V8 has a Weiand
supercharger on top, and the speedy upgrades don't end there.
There's a Holley four-barrel carburetor, shorty headers, and an
H-pipe dual exhaust. This hardy and powerful motor also has the
right supporting components, including a large Champion aluminum
radiator w/electric fan. All this power gets fed to a 700R4
four-speed automatic transmission. These are built hardy to handle
big power GM cars, and it's also great for overdrive cruising. And
don't forget to look at the undercarriage photos. There, you'll see
more evidence of a solid investment in this truck with a clean
chassis and color-matched body underside. Plus, the suspension has
been upgraded with an independent front and trailing arms in the
rear. Plus, with power steering, front disc brakes, and modern
performance tires, this custom Chevy really knows how to hit the
streets.
This is a mean green machine. So if you love a speedy truck that
can still comfortably cruise, call today!!!
