stunning 2001 Plymouth Prowler in mint condition with only 1,376
original miles. This Prowler is basically just like a new car so it
looks fantastic, runs awesome, everything works, and it is a
pleasure to drive. It is completely stock and original with no
modifications. This is an excellent and rare opportunity to own a
desirable, and basically brand new, Prowler at an unbeatable value.
One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the
purchase price in years to come as the market on the Plymouth
Prowler is hot right now and on the rise. This Plymouth is finished
in the beautiful and highly desirable color combination of Prowler
Orange Pearlcoat (PVF) over Agate Gray Leather (LLAZ) interior.
This is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by
the codes on the data sticker. Please peruse all of the photos,
video, and other information below to get a true sense of clean and
nice this SSR really is.
This Plymouth has had only one owner since new. We received the car
from the original owner who purchased it in April of 2001 at
Carriage Towne Chrysler Plymouth outside of Columbus, OH. He
trailered the car back to his home in Cincinnati, OH and used the
car very sparingly; he never even put license plates on the car. He
was also very meticulous and kept the documents and items from when
it was sold new. Included with the car is the original window
sticker, both sets of keys and fobs, the owner's manual, books,
Infinity Sound System demonstration CD, the original odometer
statement showing the car had 6 miles on it at delivery, the sales
receipt, and even the original temp tag and temp tag registration
that was issued to him by the original dealer. The front license
plate mount in also included with the car; it has never been
mounted and is still in the original plastic. The original owner
purchased a genuine Mopar car cover and genuine Mopar front end
cover (bra) from the dealer, which also come with the car.
There is copy of the Autocheck report on this car pictured in the
photos. The report shows no accident history and verifies the low
mileage.
Exterior
The Prowler Orange Pearlcoat exterior is in spectacular condition.
As one can see in the photos, the paint has an excellent gloss,
deep shine, and smooth glass-like finish. This car has never been
in any kind of accident and has never had any type of paint work.
We have seen no paint lines, overspray or other signs of paintwork
at all. The AutoCheck report also shows no accident history, which
was confirmed by the original owner as well. The original chrome
wheels are in excellent condition with a brilliant finish and no
curb rash. There are no major imperfections that have been excluded
from the photos. As one would expect from a vehicle with such low
mileage the underside is very clean and this car has absolutely no
rust at all. The bottom of the car is nearly as clean as the top as
one can see in the many photos of the underside. The original
stickers and paper tags are still on the bottom of the car, some
are shown in the photos.
The car looks just as great in person as it does in the photos.
Interior
The Agate Gray Leather interior in the Prowler looks outstanding.
The seats look just as good in person as they do in the photos with
no tears, rips, or excessive wear. The driver's seat is not worn in
the typical spot on the bolster of the driver's seat where the
driver gets in and out. The carpet also looks like new with no
stains, tears, or holes. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and
the lenses are crystal clear. The dash and console are in great
shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The door panels look
excellent and both door pulls are solid and in tact. This car has
not been smoked in; there are no burn marks and no aroma of
cigarettes what-so-ever. The excellent condition of this all
original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and
attention this Prowler has received throughout its life.
The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the
photos.
Mechanical
This Prowler is in great mechanical condition. It is an excellent
driver that feels great on the road; it runs and drives just like
you would expect from a vehicle with 1,376 miles that is like new.
The car starts right away every time and runs well. In the video
below one can observe the car driving, accelerating, braking, and
shifting through the gears. Please note that there are no strange
noises or vibrations and the Plymouth performs quite well overall.
There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool
and does not overheat. Also, the engine is clean, beautifully
detailed, complete, correct, and original as one can see from the
photos.
Everything on this car works properly. The horn works as do the
indicators, exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, and blower
for the heater and a/c on all speeds. The a/c works and blows cold.
All of the gauges work. Please note in the video that all of the
warning lights work properly. They light up when the key is first
turned on and then go off when the engine is started. There are no
"check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. This Prowler
has plenty of power and handles great. Not enough can be said as to
how much of a pleasure it is to drive this vehicle, especially with
the top down on a beautiful day.
This Prowler runs and drives as well as it looks.
Overall Condition
Overall, this Plymouth Prowler is in excellent condition and a
great value at our asking price. The market on Prowlers is very
strong right now, especially for correct, original, and extremely
low mileage examples like this one. This car always turns heads and
gets tons of attention wherever it goes. Cars like this are the
Barrett Jackson and stars of the future. Someone could easily enjoy
this Prowler for several years and sell it for more than the
purchase price in the years to come with minimal effort.
