Vehicle Description
Officially past the twenty-five years mark and legitimately into
classic status, this 1993 Chevrolet K1500 4x4 Cheyenne is a great
mix of tasteful upgrades with timeless utility of a long bed and
four-wheel drive. Plus, it has all the right features from
fuel-injected V8 power to an A/C interior. So it's nice to see
something so practically appealing offered for a value price.
The glossy white paint highlights the straight panels, and that
tells you this truck has been treated with respect. But that's
probably not what initially grabbed your attention. After all, this
makes a striking first impression with an updated front end, bright
chrome bumper, wire mesh grille, and crystal clear headlights. The
rear looks pretty cool, too with a custom tailgate graphic and
custom 4x4 logos on the sides. Those bright 18-inch wheels are a
nice upgrade from a later-model Silverado. But as good as this one
looks, don't be afraid to still use this as a true truck. After
all, the long bed is fully lined to keep it protected. And with the
tall 4x4 stance, wide towing mirrors, modern tow hitch, and trailer
brake, this looker also knows how to earn its keep.
The blue interior looks great against the white exterior. The bench
is finished in comfortable cloth, and has the room to keep up to
three people comfortable. It has great original features like the
sliding rear window, a tilt steering column, and air conditioning.
All of this is joined by the right upgrades, like the AM/FM/CD
stereo w/aux input and a tach mounted on the steering column. Plus,
there is a full strobe light kit for those who really want to put
on a show!
Under the hood is the believed to be original 5.7-liter
fuel-injected V8. It looks like a powerful time capsule, but more
than just a nice presentation, this super clean truck is built to
get down and dirty when you want it. The two-speed transfer case
turns this into a go-anywhere 4x4. But even if you just want to eat
up the highway miles, you have great features like the four-speed
automatic transmission w/overdrive and an independent front
suspension (remember 4x4s used front solid axles for quite a
while.) Plus, the power steering and front disc brakes are
appreciated on both the street and the trail.
Complete with restoration photos, this is a capable and cool
classic 4x4. So at a price like this, you know there are plenty of
other admirers, too. Call now!
