Pristine, authentic Primrose Yellow covers all original sheet metal, that is in factory condition. The gorgeous paint job was completed in 2018 and the body was completely disassembled for the repaint. From fenders to running boards, body panels to hood flaps, gas tank to rear bumper, there are no areas of rust or body filler, this is an amazing example of a 1950 original TD. The front grille is the correct red vertical slats which are surrounded by excellent chrome and topped with the correct factory Motometer radiator cap. Functional fog lights and a badge bar adorn the iconic front end. Black convertible top and tan tonneau cover, are in excellent shape and complement the redone tan interior leather upholstery. Tires are proper size and have approx. 2,000 miles on them.
INTERIOR:
The solid wood dash was replaced in 2018. The instrument and knob cluster are all original and in working order. It sports the original steering wheel in full banjo style, with leather wrap and of course the iconic MG logo. It is left hand drive. Tan Leather seats are about 4 years old and in very good condition. Black carpeting with very neat new MG floor mats.
DRIVETRAIN:
The engine is a matching number, original 1250CC, 4 cylinder with 4 speed manual transmission.
There has been EXTENSIVE engine, wiring, alternator, and exhaust work done, combined between the last two owners, which exceeds $20,000. Proof of all mechanical work will be provided to the new owner.
