Take a look at this BEAUTIFUL !! - VERY RARE !! - RESTORED !! - PAMPERED !! 1956 Ford Thunderbird Convertible Roadster !! It is VERY RARE as only 15,631 Thunderbirds were built in 1956, the lowest production year of the "Baby Birds" !! We recently purchased this T-Bird from the previous retired Washington State owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it is his pride and joy !! It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Ford data / VIN plate and it's - ORIGINAL - 1956 Ford Thunderbird owners manual handbook, both of which are shown in several pictures. This is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and it shows !! I drove this T-Bird as my daily driver for the last several days and I assure it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is a GREAT driver in town and cruises down the freeway easily and smoothly. At the heart of this T-Bird is what appears to be the VERY STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL - CODE "P" - 312 CID "Thunderbird Special" V8 motor that is running VERY well. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL Thunderbird valve covers, ORIGINAL Style Holley 4 barrel carburetor and the ORIGINAL Chrome air cleaner housing. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style true dual bumper side exit exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH !! - REBUILT - 2 Speed "Ford-O-Matic" automatic transmission that also functions very well !! The BEAUTIFUL !! - Code "XA" - Black and White Vinyl Thunderbird interior is in VERY NICE condition including a VERY NICE Black and White Vinyl "bucket-bench" seat, VERY NICE NEW Black Carpets, VERY NICE Matching White and Black Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Thunderbird steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, VERY NICE White Vinyl sun visors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black and Brushed Aluminum dash and a VERY NICE Black Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! The ORIGINAL White Vinyl convertible top is also in good condition for being original. All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in GREAT condition. The BEAUTIFUL - Code "E" - Colonial White exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! showing a few small chips that have been touched up but still looks STUNNING !! as you can clearly see in the LENGTHY VIDEO & 100+ ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! The AWESOME - Factory Original - "Port Hole" removable hardtop is also in very nice condition. This T-Bird comes nicely equipped including WORKING AIR CONDITIONING that blows COLD !!, factory power steering, factory telescoping steering column, factory gauge clusters with 150 MPH speedometer and working factory tachometer, working original clock, good heater and defroster, factory power wipers, working original AM radio, original rear view mirror, factory dual fresh air vents, original chrome driver's side view mirror, factory fender skirts, a Schumacher battery tender / charger and factory back up lights. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME !! - FACTORY STYLE - Ford chrome wire wheel covers and BRAND NEW Coker wide whitewall steel belted radial tires, they look OUTSTANDING on this T-Bird and really give it that CLEAN - "FACTORY ORIGINAL" - look !! All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL Style Badging, NICE ORIGINAL Chrome rear bumper and VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front bumper. The CLEAN - SOLID trunk also sports the ORIGINAL Style Black Vinyl liner and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench !! All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are also clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! I looked underneath and also included photos below, again this is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho High Mountain Desert - western vehicle and it shows !!
