1976 Triumph Spitfire for sale
Car purchased May 2012 in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Previous owner had already begun with a minor modified restoration. Mileage at the time of purchase was 84,410 miles.
After receiving the car I hired Brian's British to continue with a more highly modified restoration which began in June 2012. Mileage at that point 84,600. The restoration continued through mid 2013.
The engine was rebuilt with the exception of the oil pan because it was in great shape. However the oil pan pump was replaced. Everything else new. Dual SU carbs...oil cooler...new radiator...new head...dual exhaust wrapped with heavy duty heat tape...electric cooling fan...heat deflector...and a lot more. Add to this....
New suspension.
New Tires.
I had an auto body shop repair and strengthen both rocker panels...repair dents on the hood and then repainted repaired sections.
New electronic over drive was done by Ray Marty...Marty Enterprises of Oregon.
Complete new interior...including the trunk. Incredible job.
Brand new Mahogany dash with all new gauges and new steering wheel to compliment it.
I also added a 1600 watt sound system.
The present mileage is 90,565. So, 7 years later I have only put 5965 miles on a brand new engine. Plus the car looks as great and drives just as incredible as the day I finished it.
I am asking $12,275 for a car, anyone can tell by just looking at, has had far more than that amount put into it.
I have full receipts on everything from everyone who worked on or supplied parts for this car.
