Backdraft 1965 Replica Cobra - Classic Edition- BIG AND TALL
Package Backdraft cars are not kits. They are Factory built to
exacting standards. The backdraft Cobra is a true tribute to the
original 1965 Cobra with modern underpinnings and drivetrain giving
the car a modern feel but still retaining the rawness of the
original car. The body and paintwork is flawless with perfect Hood,
Door and Trunk fit. The Paintwork is buffed to a high gloss.
Stripes are done in paint and are sealed under the clear coat. The
interior holds true to the original car with period correct bucket
seats, forward leaning shifter, leather covered dash and
traditional dash gauge layout. Chrome Backdraft Gauges are
standard. Multi Point Safety Harnesses are standard for Driver and
Passenger. Traditionally only people of average size have been able
to comfortable fit in a Cobra. The Big and Tall option allows
drivers up to 6'5" in height and up to 350 lbs to comfortably
enter/exit and drive the Backdraft Cobra. The Seats have been
widened, The Pedal Box area depressed and the Seat Tracks relocated
allowing for a stock seating position for a larger driver.
Backdraft Racing Inc was founded in January of 2001 by 2 world
champion auto racers, Tony Marten and Reg Dodd. The company has
