condition in my opinion and the paint is in very good condition as
well. The paint on the hood has been redone and besides a few other
light touch ups the paint is original. There are no scratches or
dings that I can see after walking around the car. The Thing also
has rear side air scoops which is exclusive to the 74 model.Engine
amp; Transmission: The Thing holds a 1.6L V4 engine with an
original 4 speed manual transmission that runs, drives and shifts
great. Interior: The interior of the Thing is an original interior
including the original wooden duck boards on the floor. There is a
new top and beach top in the trunk along with removable doors with
storage cases under the front hood area. Wheels amp; Tires: The
Thing sits on Arizonian Silver Edition tires with 14 inch
Volkswagen wheels which are all in very good condition.Suspension:
The Thing sits on new shocks along with its original torsion bar
suspension system.Electrical: Everything on the Thing appears to
work as it should.Glass: The glass on the Thing all around is in
good condition with an original windshield that has a couple stone
chips but is overall in good condition in my opinion.History: We
acquired this Thing out of North Carolina from a collector, but it
