Vehicle Description
1978 Volkswagen Super-beetle Cabriolet by Karmann
"Aloha"
Production of the Beetle Cabriolet by Karmann began in 1948 when
Wilhelm Karmann GmbH purchased a VW Beetle sedan and converted it
into a four-seater convertible. Volume production began in 1949 by
Karmann after being successfully presented to Volkswagen in
Wolfsburg and approval received.
This VW has minor cosmetic things such as a small tear in the top,
and paint has small cosmetic issues but nothing that takes away
from how special and rare this VW is. It drives beautifully could
even be a daily driver. There is ZERO rust on the car. The interior
is immaculate. This was voted number 49 of one of the most rare VW
beetles to hit the market. Resembling the 1979 Volkswagen
'Epilogue' Cabriolet.
