Attractive Platinum Metallic over brown full leather interior. 195k
miles but shows and drives as a car with much lower mileage.
Long-term California and Georgia car with only three owners since
new.
Maintained with an open checkbook by marque specialists with
complete and well-organized service records back to new. Exterior
finish looks good overall, although it does have some rock chips on
the nose as expected. Interior shows well; leather seating surfaces
have some creasing and are slightly faded but no splits or tears
and the leather remains soft. It has been garaged for most of its
life which has surely helped to keep the leather dash and door
uppers in good original condition; likewise the Targa top looks
good. Wheels have been professionally refinished and are wearing
newer Bridgestone Potenzas.
The owners have been religious about having the oil changed every
3,000 miles and valves adjusted every 10,000 miles. A refreshed
transmission from a mid-year car (shorter gearing) was fitted
several years ago along with Quaife LSD; otherwise this 911 is
unmodified.
This is an excellent Targa to drive and enjoy - it's been well kept
and runs and drives very well (see video). It's rare that we see
these cars with such long-term ownership and such extensive
records. Books, tools and service file included.
