Purchased from a local longtime owner/collector who was thinning
out his collection, who had the car professionally frame off
restored in 2002. {picture documented}
Stored in a climate controlled garage and only driven a few hundred
miles since completion, it still maintains a fresh frame-off
restored appearance. Absolutely beautiful !!
The body is super straight, solid and clean including the floors,
trunk and frame all of which are painted correct and detailed. The
2 stage and 1967 correct ''Bolero Red'' with black stripes paint is
slick and smooth with a deep luster and show car shine! All the
chrome, trim and weather stripping is in like new condition as well
as the black manual convertible top. The standard black bucket seat
with console interior was also replaced during the restoration
process and looks brand new.
Power comes from a rebuilt N.O.M. but correct 396c.i. 325+h.p. big
block engine that runs smooth and strong with that awesome big
block thump we all love to hear !! It is backed by a 700R4
automatic overdrive transmission and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear
with 3:73 gears. This is the perfect set-up, strong pulling power
from light to light and overdrive for hi-way cruising VERY NICE
!!
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes, in-dash
tach, console gauges, Flow master dual exhaust, 15'' rally wheels
with B.F.G's and a whole lot more.
Everything has been replaced new including, the steering,
suspension, brake and fuel systems.
This is an extremely well done and professionally restored 1967
Camaro Convertible that runs, rides and drives as nice as it looks.
