The Mercury got a whole new look in 1952, and the Monterey became
its own separate model line. The car now featured a larger shape,
rounded out fenders, curved glass, and controls on a level plane
behind the steering wheel. The 1950's Mercury's were popular then
and now. However, their desirability among customizers and hot-rod
