This 1963½ model, the industry's first official "½ year" model, was called the "sports hardtop" or "fastback". This body style was an instant success as Galaxie buyers showed their preference as the new sports hardtop models handily outsold the "boxtop" square-roof models.
Nearly everything is original – engine, interior, hub caps. The engine came from the factory with a two bbl carburetor, but now sports a four barrel carburetor. Exterior has been repainted approximately 6-10 years ago. Car has bucket seats. Odometer reads at 125,122 miles. Runs good. Has a little surface rust in the trunk, but overall, it’s in pretty good condition. Has been kept covered and in a garage.
