Are you one of those hard to please picky people? Well please call
us, we would love to win you over with this car! Meticulous body
off the frame restoration. Very exciting colors, wheels, sound and
of course the 427 motor. It's a tribute to the legendary Yenko
cars. Don Yenko stuffed bigger motors then GM was willing to offer
in a small number of Chevelles and Camaros. The originals sell for
hundreds of thousands of dollars. This one is even better with some
nice upgrades.
EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is incredible. We have sold 2 cars to
the previous owner of this car. I thought both our cars were
awesome, he spent hours critiquing each one. After he bought them
still spent significant money making the bodys fit perfectly. That
should shed some light on how nice his car is. So now I'm standing
next to the car and I will reconfirm the fit and finish is
outstanding. The trunk, doors and hood fit perfectly square and
flush, they open and close like new. The body is absolutely laser
straight. The paint is slick as teflon, even to the touch. Even the
jambs are as slick as the outside. All of the trim is pristine.
Every piece of chrome, grill, lenses etc is new. The stainless trim
is polished like chrome. The vinyl top is in pristine shape. The
Yenko package includes striping and emblems. The window seals,
weather strips are all new and fit right. All new smoked glass,
windows roll up with ease. 17 inch aluminum wheels are polished
like brand new, wider in back with a little meatier tire.
INTERIOR: Really just as nice inside. All new upholstery without a
wrinkle, that's because the cushions are new too. The headrests are
new with Yenko logos. The chrome seat trim is new. Door panels,
headliner, visors and carpet are new and installed professionally.
The whole dash area is restored. Lenses, gauges, knobs, heater
controls are mint. It has a mini tachometer in the dash, a cushion
grip steering wheel, and a gauge cluster neatly placed under the
dash. Original seat belts are in excellent condition. Inside the
glove box door is glossy, new liner. Interior lights work, gauges
light up like brand new, glovebox lights up.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is a real 1969 427 engine. It is an
immaculate engine room, I mean bring your white glove and you can
wipe anywhere. Underside of the hood and jamb has glass finish
orange paint, new insulation. The firewall and core support is all
painted a spotless semi gloss black. All the nuts and bolts, wires
and clips are excellent. Windshield washers are hooked up. Every
component looks new. Upgraded billet pulleys. Aluminum water pump
and radiator keep it cool. Has a stock fan, shroud and GM hose.
Reproduction spring clamp battery cables. It features power
steering and brakes. The motor is healthy, has aluminum intake and
dual feed Holley carb. external transmission cooler
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is all clean metal with a very durable
coat of spatter finish paint. Has a mat and fully restored jack.
Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are slick as can be, perfect
seams and spotwelds. New weather strip, decal, latches are
detailed, wiring looks new.
UNDERSIDE: I'm not surprised it is spotless underneath too. I am
pleasantly surprised at some really cool suspension upgrades.
Upfront it has some really cool fat tubular control arms with coil
over adjustable shocks and a sway bar. Suspension, steering and
disc brakes are all new. Bottom of the motor has oversized oil pan,
new starter and fuel pump. The turbo 400 automatic has a deeper pan
and external cooler. In back it has 12 bolt rear, upgraded square
tube control arms, sway bar and coil over adjustable shocks. New
brakes, brake lines and e-brake assembly. New fuel tank, sending
unit and straps. Great sounding Flowmaster exhaust with stock
cowbell exhaust tips. The metal floors and frame are dry as a
chalkboard, painted a smooth satin black finish. The bottom of this
car is detailed meticulously.
Dont clean out the garage, this car goes right in the living room!
It's so clean I don't think your wife will even mind. I would
certainly drive it, it functions as good as it looks. Sounds
awesome, feels right. You didn't hear it from me, but its fast
too!
Incredibly detailed, I mean incredible!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
