Vehicle Description
This is a good looking, nice driving vintage truck that would be
very much at home running errands around town, or polished up and
showing off at a local show. Either way, it's bound to attract some
attention. Check it out.
Big bold curves around the fenders and cab defines the look of
these F100s. The Deep Red paint looks rich and solid shining off
the tall and rounded cab with that big curved windshield. Awesome.
The hood makes a big strong curve down toward the chrome grill and
the fenders meet it in a crisp clean line at the leading edge. LED
headlights flanking the grill are a nice touch and a simple chrome
bumper underlines everything nicely. Out back you will find another
sharp looking bumper with a couple chrome exhaust tips peeking out
from under it and a simple tailgate over it. That gate drops down
to reveal a beautifully refinished and trimmed out wooden bed. The
truck has just the right amount of rake to the chassis and hunkers
down low over those big and bold Eagle alloy wheels tucked up under
those fenders.
Open the door and you will find a simple interior but with a really
nice seat upgrade. The door panel is simple in Black with a chrome
handle, door pull and window crank along with a bead of chrome
across the bottom. A deep dish, three spoke steering wheel is
mounted on a tilt column with billet control stalks. Nestled under
a painted dash is an arching chrome speedometer with small fuel
level, water temp, and oil pressure gauges across the bottom. An
auxiliary set of gauges under the dash keeps easy to read and
accurate tabs on the critical engine functions, and a molded chrome
grip for the automatic transmission is mounted in the floor. There
is an FM/Cassette deck mounted in the glove box for your listening
pleasure and those seats are leather trimmed captain's chairs with
fold down armrests on both sides! Nice.
Pop the hood and you will find a healthy 302 cubic inch motor
setting down in a neat and clean engine bay. There is a brushed
aluminum air topper sitting on an Edelbrock 4-barell carburetor and
intake manifold. The motor is painted in the appropriate Ford Blue
and that set of brush lettered Edelbrock valve covers certainly
does look good in it. A red cap and blue wires get the spark to the
plugs and a set of headers gets the spent gasses out to free flow
mufflers. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic to a 10-bolt
rear end on leaf springs. Up front control arms and coil springs
along with a beefy front sway bar keep this truck cornering flat
and handling well. Front disc brakes provide great stopping power
and those awesome wheels are wrapped with 225/6018s in the front
and 235/45/20s in the rear.
Good looking, nice driving. Come on down and check it out. It might
be just the truck you are looking for.
