This 1954 Roman Red Bel Air has 29,285 original miles (the title
reads mileage exempt). It is powered by a period-correct 235ci
inline-6 engine featuring an Offenhauser intake manifold with twin
single-barrel carburetors mated to a 3-speed manual transmission
with column shifter. It is also equipped with Super Stock ignition
wires, chrome valve cover and air cleaner, as well as chrome
bumperettes and rear-wheel side skirts. This Bel Air rides on
whitewall tires and has chrome vent window wind deflectors, as well
as dual chrome exterior mirrors. It is finished in a two-tone red
and white interior with a front bench seat, vinyl trunk matting and
a full-size spare tire. It is a recent recipient of a frame-off
restoration.
