Truly a 7 Series on steroids, the Alpina B12 5.7 is one of the most
interesting and exciting four-door saloons of the 1990s. At its
heart was the M73 5.4-litre V-12 engine found in the E38-generation
7 Series. At Alina, this was enlarged to 5.7-litres and fitted with
a new camshaft and valves, as well as larger pistons. Output was
increased to a massive 387 bhp and 560 nm of torque. Stiffer
springs and dampers were fitted along with upgraded brakes, as well
as larger wheels and tires. Performance was exceptional, with a
0-100 km/h time of 6.4 seconds leading to a top speed of over 280
km/h.
While this particular example's history is not known, it was
purchased by its current owner from an owner in Poland in mid-2016.
Finished in dark blue with gold Alpina pinstripes over a black
leather interior, the Alpina details continue within the marque's
typical blue and green seat inserts and stitching.
This rare B12 5.7 is ready to storm the Autobahn and leave lesser
four-door sedans in its wake.

Der Alpina B12 5.7 ist ein echter Power-7er, einer der
interessantesten und aufregendsten Viert�rer der 90er Jahre. Unter
der Haube findet sich die von Alpina auf 5.7 Liter vergr��erte
Variante des M73 Zw�lfzylinders, die hier dank neuer Kurbelwelle
und ge�nderten Ventilen sowie gr��eren Kolben 387 PS und 560 Nm
Drehmoment liefert. Steifere Federn und D�mpfer sorgten ebenso wie
verg��erte Bremsen und gr��ere R�der daf�r, dass dieser E38 die
gr��ere Leistung auch sicher auf die Stra�e bringen konnte. Die
Fahrleistungen waren au�ergew�hnlich, so ben�tigte die Limousine
nur 6.4 Sekunden f�r den Sprint auf 100 km/h und erreichte eine
H�chstgeschwindigkeit von 280 km/h.
Die genaue Historie dieses vom Einlieferer 2016 in Polen
erstandenen Exemplars ist unbekannt. Ausgef�hrt in dunkelblauem
Lack mit goldenen Alpina Zierstreifen und schwarzem Lederinterieur,
verf�gt dieser B12 auch �ber die Alpina-typischen blaugr�nen
Einlagen in den Sitzen.
Dieser seltene B12 5.7 l�sst auf der Autobahn andere Viert�rer
l�ssig hinter sich.
