For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet El Camino in Long Island, New York

Vehicle Description

Let me start off by saying this car has had some serious time and money spent on it. Just walking around the car, if you know what your looking at you can see there's quality parts everywhere, and the paint and body are way above average on what you'd find on other Chevys of this year and price. I put this up for sale a year ago, then decided to keep it. I just don't drive it enough so I'm putting it back up for sale. Its just taking up a space in my garage. It runs, drives and stops as it should. It has a newer 350 crate motor, TH350 and a posi 12 bolt rear with 3.73s. Has long tube headers and I believe a 3 1/2 inch exhaust. No rust, no bondo. All metal and all in great shape. The paint is great, its not perfect but this is no 10 foot paint job. Its like looking in a mirror. The bed is solid, as is the underneath. No rust through anywhere on the car. The bed has Hurculiner in it and looks good, not all beat up. A lot of the trim is brand new, a few pieces could use some attention but it never really bothered me. It has new wheels and tires. The interior is also in great shape. Door panels and arm rests are new. The dash looks brand new, carpet and headliner are in decent shape. I have the original trim pieces for the car, some of what's on there is universal aftermarket stuff but it looks good. If I was keeping the car This is what I'd keep working on... I'd put windshield wipers on, I have a new motor and wipers in the box. I'd put a patch on the seat because one of the seams on the drivers side is letting go. I'd make the radio work, there's speakers and a CD player and antenna, it just doesn't make any noise. I would clean up and detail the engine bay and underneath the car. I'm open to full or partial trades for projects, muscle cars, hotrods, rat rods, or a Jon boat. I like all brands but I'm very partial to Chevy. Please no other boats or motorcycles. I would love a 63-66 C10. "Please contact us for location and availability of the vehicle.
