1968 Dodge Charger For Sale (Base) 2 door Hardtop equipped V8, 318
Automatic 904-83/4 Transmission, Power Steering and Power Brakes.
The odometer has a reading of roughly 109000 original miles. The
car is a Red color base model car with numbers matching and fender
tag. I do have a broadcast sheet and a card I pulled from under the
carpet dated as to interior installation. It was re-sprayed red
again to bring back the shine by the previous owner - top coat
only. A real head turner. The undercarriage is clean with very
solid, straight, surface rust free frame & floor boards. A layer of
rust preventative coating is present throughout the vehicle.
Bumpers, as well as all of the other chrome or stainless, still
show very little wear from the date of inception. Trunk pan is very
solid and includes the oem jack and spare wheel. Car comes with
factory wheels and hubcaps as well as the original headlights as
they all still work but are just too dim. It rides, drives, and
straight down the road with no shakes, or vibrations. This Charger
has a great fit with everything lining up very well; doors, trunk,
hood, etc. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges,
windows, are functioning properly. Engine fires right up with no
smoking, ticking, noises, etc.. Has a fantastic rumble with Dual
Exhausts - extra set of ceramic coated headers (NEW) come with the
car for your installation. Car is ready to be driven anywhere. The
Black Interior is in normal condition for a survivor, it has a very
small rips, the head liner has a VERY 1" small tear, and the radio
and the clock doesn't work (have not looked at it yet). Aside from
that everything including the rear heater works. Weather strips,
felts, gaskets, rubbers, have normal aging wear on them. It has the
date coded radiator and etc.. Overall, this Charger is a great
opportunity to get behind the wheel of a turnkey investment grade
classic auto that can be driven daily, enjoyed or kept as survivor
increasing further in value. If you're looking for a rare and
classic collectible automobile; don't bother with someone's garage
rotisserie project or what someone else thought a charger should be
like. Buy this stock one and make it into what you want. Reason for
selling is I have located a cleaner car. If this sells I go get
that one. If not fine... I don't need money nor do I need to sell
