1973 Stingray that I have owned/been finishing for 3+ years.
Beautiful numbers matching car. 350 engine that has been rebuilt, I
have put 15,000+ miles on it, Turbo 400 transmission. Previous
owner had the engine rebuilt, had it painted the original factory
color, and restored the interior to the factory Dark Saddle. The
car did not have the shine that it has now when I purchased it. I
have put about 50 hours of hand rubbing on the finish to bring out
the shine. Previous owner replaced the front suspension and
steering components. My work on it has included replacing the
trailing arm assemblies, upgrading to new 3" half shaft assemblies,
new 2 1/2" exhaust with 40 series Flowmaster mufflers, new rear
suspension components(no Corvette "squat"), new trim rings and
center caps (I still have the factory originals), new rear bumpers,
new rear brake rotors, new starter and battery, new brake master
cylinder. Tires are practically new. It has new T Top seals and
door seals, and new gauge cluster bezels. It is a factory A/C car,
however the compressor was locked up when I purchased the car and
no belt was on it. I considered the compressor with no belt an
eyesore under the hood and removed it and the brackets until I
could replace them. I still have the compressor and brackets and
they will go with the car. The Vette also needs a heater core, I
bypassed it 3 years ago when it started leaking . I have felt no
need to replace the A/C or heater core as of yet since I drive the
car a lot and simply remove the T-Tops in warm weather and do not
drive the car when it is cold out. I have receipts for ALL work and
parts( approximately $4,500) that I have done but have none from
previous ownership. This is a VERY good driving and riding car, you
can drive it wherever you want. I have made several trips to Myrtle
Beach car shows, as well as Darlington, and several shows into
North Carolina. It has won many awards at local shows and awards at
Charlotte Autofair, top 50 at Darlington, top 30 at Joe Gibbs
Racing Fanfest, as well as awards at the Hendricks Christmas for
Kids Show and Dale Earnhardt Chevy annual shows. This car is not
"perfect", therefore not asking a "perfect car" price. Please Note
