Vehicle Description
Very powerful people often go unnoticed or are underestimated. They
carry themselves with confidence, and If you know them, you know
what they are capable of. But if you don't, you may not really
notice that they are wearing a $6,000 suit and a Rolex Daytona
watch. This car is like that. It's wearing a Roush $60,000 suit and
can make time fly, but unless you know what that means, you might
underestimate this car. That would be a mistake.
The signs are all there to let you know that this is a serious car.
There is flat black paint on the hood scoop to let cold air in and
other air vents to let hot air out. A banner across the windshield
plainly announces it as a Roush Mustang for those who understand
what that means. To many people though, this is just a beautiful
Ruby Red Metallic Mustang with an aero kit and racing stripes. Up
front there are HID headlamps and LED fog lamps. Air flows through
the grills both above and below the bumper to feed and cool the
engine. A chin spoiler reaches for the ground to keep unwanted air
from getting underneath the car and a tell-tale Stage 3 badge
appears on the grill as well as the front fenders. Aggressive side
aero does the same thing and the rear facia has splitters flanking
the quad tailpipes. Between the sequential taillamps is a blackout
panel with Roush discreetly lettered into it. Polished alloy wheels
fill up the fenders and help make this car look awesome.
Open the door and you will find an interior that is an efficient
place to conduct some high-speed business from, but is also packed
with all the luxury and convenience items you expect in a modern
sports luxury car. The door panel is sharp looking with a long
comfortable armrest, a couple speakers for the premium sound system
and switches at your fingertips. The seats are trimmed with leather
and are 6-way power adjustable as well as heated and cooled. A
3-spoke steering wheel is leather wrapped with hands free controls
for the phone, the Synch sound system, cruise control and Nav. A
Roush gauge cluster keeps accurate tabs on critical engine
functions as well as your speed and engine rpm. The display in the
center is a multi-function control panel as well as a display for
the rear-view camera. Dual zone climate controls are below that. In
the center console is the shifter for a 6-speed automatic
transmission that is just begging you to ignore all the other
controls and have some fun with it.
Pop the hood and you will find that wonderful, Roush 5.0 Liter,
Stage 3, Phase 2 Supercharged V8 sitting in a neat and clean engine
bay. The engine is a marvel of development work by Roush that
generates over 700 horsepower and over 600 lb-ft of torque, yet
balances that performance with drivability in a way that is pretty
unbelievable. A cold air induction system feeds air to a Roush 2.3
TVS supercharger and intercooler and a finely tuned intake system.
The bottom end of the engine is built to take that pressure with a
heavy-duty crank and rods and forged aluminum pistons in order to
handle the boost and make that kind of power. That power is sent
back through that 6-speed automatic to a limited slip diff with
3.55 gears, and the Roush tuned suspension has adjustable height
coil overs and sway bars to put that power on the ground. Big
anti-lock disc brakes at all four wheels provide plenty of stopping
power to haul this car back down from speed and the rubber meets
the road through 275/35ZR20s all around.
This is a great looking, awesome example of American Muscle. Come
on down and try it on for size. Then drive it home with
confidence.
