Torch Red 2005 GT Mustang premium convertible with Medium Parchment
leather interior came with the following factory options: - power
6-way driver's seat - anti-lock brakes - traction control - air
conditioning - 500 watt Shaker Am/FM stereo/6-CD in dash/MP3 -
interior upgrade package - rear spoiler delete - front seat side
airbags - convertible boot cover The stereo has an iPod connector
in the glove compartment. You can control the iPod from the stereo.
It will also play MP3 CD's. The car was originally sold by Team
Ford of Marietta, GA. I purchased it from Streetside Classics in
Lithia Springs, GA in November 2012. This rocket ship has already
had all the upgrades done to it that most people would want to do.
Team Ford in Marietta installed the following: - cold air intake
kit - underdrive pulleys - heavy duty lowering springs and camber
plates - upgraded upper strut mounts - performance 5 speed short
throw shifter - stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust They also
re-flashed the computer for improved horsepower. In addition, I
added a Kenny Brown heavy duty strut tower brace shortly after I
purchased the car. I have the original mufflers that were taken
off. The tires are high performance Goodyear Eagle F1 255/45ZR18
All Season radials meaning you can safely drive the car year round.
It can be driven in cold weather without any traction worries,
something you can't do with summer performance tires. Being the
same size all around means you can also properly rotate them. The
tires were rotated and balanced and the front and rear end aligned
at 19,378 miles. I replaced the original 17" wheels with genuine
Ford Motorsport optional equipment 18" chrome 5 spoke wheels. These
wheels were only offered as optional equipment in 2009 and are very
rare. I no longer have the original wheels. The oil and filter was
changed at 19,391 miles with Mobil 1 5w/20 full synthetic oil and a
Mobil 1 filter. The oil has been changed frequently and I have
always used Mobil 1 full synthetic oil since I've owned the car.
Both the drivers side and passenger side air bag inflators were
replaced under the Takata air bag recall by Woody Anderson Ford in
Huntsville, AL at 19,337 miles. Included with the car are all
service receipts, both sets of original keys, original window
sticker, original owner's manual, car cover with locking cable, and
all dealer brochures. Also included is the large hardcover book
Mustang 2005: A New Breed of Pony Car. This is an accident free
well maintained enthusiast owned Mustang that echoes the original
classic Mustangs from the Sixties. I am a past president of the
Rocket City Mustang Club and have owned a number of Mustangs. This
car has given me zero problems since I have owned it. (Well, other
than a dead battery which I replaced with an Optima Red Top.) I am
only selling it because I have purchased another convertible and
need to make room in my garage. The Mustang is located in Athens in
North Alabama and is convenient to Interstate 65. Please Note The
