This 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air Impala coupe has undergone a fresh
complete frame-off, nut-and-bolt, rotisserie restoration. All of
the stock trim was retained on this one-year-only model. All-new
polished aluminum and high-performance mechanicals were added,
including the rebuilt 327ci V8 engine, modern 700R4 4-speed
automatic overdrive transmission, Air Ride Dominator 7-way airbag
suspension with dual VIAIR 380C chrome compressors, 5-gallon
aluminum air tank and an air hose to fill the tires, rack & pinion
power steering, cross-drilled power disc brakes, modern air
conditioning, and all-new mechanical and electrical equipment. This
Impala comes equipped with a custom aluminized exhaust, new
Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm 4-barrel carburetor, new electronic
ignition and hidden wiring harness, polished aluminum radiator, new
starter motor, new Weiand polished aluminum racing water pump,
polished aluminum pulleys and mounting brackets, and a new aluminum
finned air cleaner. This accident-free Impala retains its original
quarter-panels, fenders, doors, roof, hood, trunk lid and chassis,
which were media-blasted and painted Chevrolet Black Onyx and
Cortex Silver. The entire underside is detailed and show painted as
well. The car was fitted with all-new tinted glass and
weatherstripping and new 17" polished aluminum American Racing
wheels and high-performance tires. The interior features black
leather and perforated Alcantara suede and a custom trunk with
black and silver access panels with custom-stitched Impala logo and
pitchfork design, and a heavy-duty battery.
