Pickup for your consideration. Finished in a beautiful patina brown
with brown leather interior. Along with the interior comes a custom
floor made up of license plates. Under the hood is a Chevy small
block 327ci V8 with a 350 automatic transmission, the perfect
amount of power and sound for this truck. This '49 comes with A/C,
power brakes, power steering, and a heater. Some of the custom
things that were completed with this build are a 4 barrel Holley
carb, aftermarket radio, Lokar shifter, Lokar gas pedal, all new
brakes, fuel lines, dual master cylinder, 3:36 rear axle, aluminum
radiator, '68 Camaro subframe, custom wiring, louvered hood and
tailgate cover, rolled pan and bed cover, louvered headliner,
lowered suspension, bear claw latches and a 16 gallon fuel cell.

Apart from some functional changes to the 1949s, the 1948-1949
Chevrolet truck was similar to the 1947 model, and in fact Chevy's
1948 trucks were nearly identical to the '47s. To make more leg
room for center passengers in 3100s and 3600s, the gearshift lever
migrated from the floor to the steering column, and the parking
brake was activated by a pedal operated by the driver's left foot,
as on Buicks. At midyear, inside-door-handle action was reversed:
