Vehicle Description
This 1975 Ford F250 Highboy is a very cool original survivor truck
with original paint!! 2 owners!! This truck came from the Pacific
Northwest Desert and the only thing not original is the engine. The
360 V8 was replaced with a 390 V8 by the second owner. This is also
a Ranger XLT so it has all of the body moldings. Very cool find!!
The body on this truck is amazing! It has all of its original paint
and it is extremely straight. Of course it has its share of patina,
but that is what makes it so cool. The body has no dents and is
really incredible. The paint is obviously the original colors of
raven Black and Wimbledon White. Some cool features include the
Dealer Installed Winch Bumper with original Warn Winch and Heavy
Duty Rear Bumper. This truck has all of its original metal!!!
The interior is very nice and original as well. It does have a
newer Rubber Floor Mat and a new headliner, but the rest looks to
be original and is in great shape. That includes the dash. All of
the lights and blinkers work (even cab lights), Gauges work, Wipers
work and heat works.
The drivetrain on this truck is excellent. The engine is a 390 V8
that was rebuilt when it was put in by the 2nd owner. Unfortunately
we did not get the receipts, but you can tell it was rebuilt by
looking at it and by how it runs. The transmission is a C6
Automatic Transmission that shifts excellent and it is mated to the
NP203 Transfer Case. It was converted to part time 4wd according to
the previous owner and that is why it has the locking hubs. Axles
have 4.10 Gears. It also has Power Steering and Power Front Disc
Brakes. This truck drives down the road so nice and it is really
fun to drive!
We hand pick each vehicle, drive it, inspect it, and make sure it
is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we can
give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs
and drives.
