This 1981 FJ40 Land Cruiser hard top is an outstanding example of
Toyota's legendary four-by-four, presented with a recent and
authentically detailed restoration performed by marque specialists.
Paintwork and detailing are executed to a high standard, while
keeping true to factory specification and quality. Paint finishes
are excellent, extending from the body to the interior panels and
on to the under carriage. Beneath the bonnet, the 4.2-liter inline
six presents well, with gold-cadmium plated hardware and authentic
decals, hardware and fittings. The interior is true to
factory-spec, with original switchgear, controls, radio, and
factory-correct upholstery. Rubber floor liners protect the painted
floors from scuffs, while also making for easy cleanup. The fully
detailed and restored chassis features updated Dobinson springs and
dampers from Australia, which provides a subtle lift over stock
without spoiling the authentic appeal of this FJ. Rugged and good
looking, this 1981 FJ40 is eager and willing to go virtually
anywhere you want to take it. To view this car and others currently
