Vehicle Description
This 2012 Factory Five Shelby Daytona re-creation is painted Ford
Ingot Silver Metallic with Matte Black stripes. The interior
features glove-leather-covered racing seats, with Simpson racing
harnesses, cross-stitched door panels and Polk Audio speakers. A
combination of Vintage Air defrost, air conditioning and heater
keep the occupants comfortable. The dash was signed by Daytona
coupe designer Peter Brock. It is powered by a Ford 332ci engine
that has been meticulously rebuilt and upgraded with an Eagle
crankshaft, internally balanced MAHLE forged pistons,
high-performance COMP Cam hydraulic cam, lifters, timing chain and
gears. Fuel delivery comes from a Ford EFI fuel system. Backing the
engine is an aftermarket T5 5-speed manual transmission with a
10.5" King-Cobra-style clutch kit and Factory Five Type 65 exhaust
headers. The fiberglass body sits on a complete tubular chassis
with a full roll cage, and handling is provided by KONI front and
rear coilover shocks. A Ford Racing rear axle girdle was added to
the rebuilt Ford 8.8" rear axle. **TITLED AS A 2012 KIT**
