This freshly built 1956 Chevrolet Corvette Resto-Mod offers classic
Corvette styling, contemporary high-performance options and
high-quality creature comforts. Built by an NCRS Master Judge and
longtime Corvette restorer, this contemporary Corvette is powered
by a GM LS3 6.2-liter 400hp engine and an NOS ZF 6-speed manual
transmission. The body sits on a Billy Dawson Corvette Correction
chassis with 1995 Corvette suspension and big brakes. The car has
an Ididit steering column, power steering, power brakes, American
Autowire wiring kit, Be Cool radiator and a Vintage Air cooling
system. All the gauges were done by Classic Instruments. Music
comes from a RetroSound two-way radio with Bluetooth and iPhone
compatibility. The speakers are Rockford Fosgate Prime full-range
speakers. The Corvette has an Al Knoch cloth Stayfast top, Al Knoch
custom leather seats and rides on chrome Z06 wheels with new tires.
