Vehicle Description
This Grand Sport is #34 out of 810 coupes built in 1996, the last
year of the C4 Corvette production. Production of these special
Corvettes ran from April 3, 1995, through June 14, 1996. All Grand
Sports (a $3,250 option) were finished in special Admiral Blue
paint with Arctic White racing stripes down the center of the car,
and two red hashmarks over the left front fender, commemorating the
1963 Grand Sport racing cars. Unique Grand Sport badging is placed
on each side of the one-piece hood. The rear quarters have extended
flares for the wider tires. The blacked-out 5-spoke wheels were the
same as the 1994-95 ZR1 Corvettes. The 350ci LT4 engine produces
330hp and 340 ft/lbs of torque backed by a 6-speed manual
transmission, and carries the Grand Sport nameplate on the fuel
injection throttle body. This car is in the Grand Sport Registry
and comes with all GSR documentation, Grand Sport documents from GM
and service receipts. This 'Vette has been kept in a
climate-controlled collection and has 1,490 actual miles. A select
offering from the Chip Watkins Collection.
