After 1931, sportiness was a distant memory for Bentley motor cars.
With the exception of the excellent 1952 Continental R, the cars
from Crewe were mere copies of their more coveted Rolls-Royce
counterparts. However, this changed in 1985 with the Bentley Turbo
R (R for roadholding), as it was the first car to be built
following the original philosophy of W.O. Bentley in years.
Producing roughly 300 bhp and with great handling characteristics,
this allowed those enthusiastic owners-drivers to enjoy a properly
sorted high-end saloon.
According to its original service manual, this Turbo R was produced
for the 1991 model year and finished in Royal Blue over St James
Red leather. While the car's early history is not known, it was
exported from Japan in 2016 to Europe and purchased by its current
owner roughly one year ago. Additionally, it is important to note
that the car still retains its original engine and is presented in
exceptional condition throughout. For the individual looking for a
Turbo R in a unique colour to drive and enjoy, look no further.

Nach 1931 war Sportlichkeit mehr eine Erinnerung an glorreiche
Zeiten bei Bentley. Mit Ausnahme des exzellenten Continental R von
1952 waren die Bentley aus Crewe nurmehr Kopien der gesuchteren
Rolls-Royce-Versionen. Dies alles �nderte sich allerdings 1985 mit
der Vorstellung des Bentley Turbo R (f�r Roadholding, also
Handling), der als erstes Auto in langer Zeit wieder nach der
Maxime von W.O. Bentley gebaut wurde. Mit rund 300 PS Leistung und
hervorragendem Handling stellte der Turbo R ein fantastisches
Angebot f�r ambitionierte �Owner Driver" dar.
Dem originalen Servicehandbuch zufolge wurde dieser Turbo R f�r das
Modelljahr 1991 in royal blue mit Leder in St. James red
hergestellt. Die fr�he Historie dieses Fahrzeugs ist leider nicht
bekannt. Es wurde 2016 nach Europa exportiert und vom derzeitigen
Besitzer vor rund einem Jahr erworben. Es ist zu beachten, dass
dieses Fahrzeug sich in hervorragendem Zustand und mit dem
