The Bentley Turbo R was a high-performance model produced from 1985
to 1997, with production totalling around 7,230 units. The 'R'
stood for 'Roadholding', and it differed from its predecessor, the
Mulsanne, courtesy of substantially stiffer anti-roll bar settings,
a Panhard rod system and stiffer damping. Wider tyres on alloy
wheels were a first for a Bentley on the Turbo R, which was a
strong performer, praised by the motoring press.
This Bentley Turbo R was produced in Arctic White over a St James
Red hide interior and delivered to Japan via official importer
Cornes and Co as one of only 112 examples built for the 1996 model
year, the Turbo R's penultimate year of production. Exported from
Japan in 2016, this Turbo R now resides in Switzerland after a
spell in Norway. Beloved for their effortless performance and
luxury, the Turbo R is an affordable way into Bentley ownership,
and this example will not disappoint.

Der Bentley Turbo R war ein von 1985 bis 1997 gebautes High

und stand im Vergleich mit dem Vorg�nger Mulsanne vor allem f�r ein
Fahrwerk mit deutlich steiferen Stabis, Panhardstab und strafferer
Abstimmung. Zum ersten Mal kamen bei einem Bentley auch breitere
Reifen auf Alufelgen zum Einsatz. F�r seine Performance wurde der
Turbo R auch von der Fachpresse gelobt.
Dieser Bentley Turbo R wurde in arctic white mit St. James-rotem
Leder ausgef�hrt und vom japanischen Importeur Cornes & Co., Ltd.
als einer von nur 112 Linkslenkern des vorletzten Turbo
R-Modelljahrs 1996 verkauft. 2016 wurde dieser Wagen nach Europa
exportiert und befindet sich nun nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt in
Norwegen in der Schweiz. Der f�r seine m�helose Kraftentfaltung und
Luxus gesch�tzte Turbo R stellt einen erschwinglichen Eintritt in
