Vehicle Description
1964 Volkswagen VW Notchback Type III. Beautiful daily driver. I
have owned the car for 4-5 years. It has been garaged the whole
time I have owned it and it lived in California before that. This
is a head turner. Things it has: I had both the engine and
transmission rebuilt by Painters Grinding in Denver, and both have
less than 500 miles on them. The heat works. The pan is solid
however it appears that part of it has been replaced. There is no
rust that I know of on the car. This car is not lowered and has
most of the proper trim on it. I had the original rims powder
coated and I installed real, German hubcaps, not cheap
reproductions. The car has new carpet and the front seats were just
reupholstered. Trunk has new carpet also. New starter. 1 year old
battery. Original carbs were rebuilt. Things it needs: the doors
should be rebuilt with new seals and window rubber, it has a black
headliner that should be white, the trim under the doors is not
correct, the front and rear window rubber is not correct, the side
lights just in front of the doors need to be connected, the
interior needs some work. It is still hard to start after it sits
for a while - I think that has to do with the carbs. The metal
firewall below the back seat was removed and reinstalled backwards;
it is not very noticible but I would flip it around. All-in-all
this is a great daily driver that has not been butchered or
lowered. It is a head turner - people stop me and ask me about it
all the time. This is a really great car that just needs a few
things done to it. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is
