Vehicle Description
To this day, the Ford Model A is one of the most recognizable cars
on the planet and with over 4.8 million units produced in nine
different body styles in its 4 year production period. It was
sporty, attractive, well-built, and smooth-running compared to the
Model T, which it replaced in the 1928 model year. Thousands of
people were eager to see for themselves that "Henry's made a lady
out of Lizzie," and they stormed Ford showrooms when the Model A
debuted on December 2, 1927. In less than two weeks there were
400,000 orders, and Henry Ford could not keep up with the demand
for his latest "gift" to an increasingly mobile nation. Despite the
onset of the Depression, Model A production remained strong at
1,261,053 cars in 1930 but fell to 626,579 cars in 1931, the last
year that the Model A was produced.

your consideration. Finished in bright red, this example really
stands out. The paint quality is very nice and shows well. The red
body is accented by the black fenders, black vinyl roof and red
painted wheels. The body is very straight and original. The body
features such as the chrome grill, bumpers, spare tire, headlights,
and trim pieces are in nice shape as well. The grey interior is in
nice shape as well, with nice seats, good trim, good dashboard. The
steering wheel looks original and is in decent shape. The car
starts up right away after going through the correct starting
procedure and runs very well. It is a solid runner and is more than
happy to go down the road at 45mph. The 3-speed manual gearbox is
easy to operate and gives the car some decent pep. These Model A's
are unique in the way that they are still happy to drive on today's
roads but still have that unique pre war charm that is hard to find
anywhere else!
