Underwent Complete Multi Year Frame-On Restoration
The original owner of this 1972 Dodge Challenger purchased it new
and enjoyed it over the next 40 years; she was described to us as a
"nice little old lady who hardly ever drove anywhere." A 2nd owner
took possession around 2012 and only kept it a few months before
selling it to the current owner, who then in turn began a
multi-year father/son restoration effort to bring this desirable
classic back to perfection. The entire interior of this classic was
restored back to like-new condition with quality insulation
throughout. All panels were also professionally adjusted for
perfect, squeak-free alignment and countless hours were spent
smoothing out the body before show quality paint was applied.
The results are simply spectacular and this is one of the premiere
builds on the open market nationwide at this time. The current
owner believes that 1972 Dodge Challenger has been driven a mere
69,498 lifetime miles, although there is no documentation to
support that claim.
Additionally, this 1972 Dodge Challenger Coupe received a complete
overhaul under the hood with the factory motor stroked to 390 cid
and countless other performance upgrades since as the electronic
ignition and a new torque converter. The suspension, brakes and
intake was also upgraded and the numbers-matching transmission was
fully sorted to handle the extra horsepower. Today, this classic
muscle car drives like a new sports car with phenomenal handling,
acceleration and stopping power. It's an amazing vehicle that must
be seen to truly appreciate.
Could Possibly Have Only 69,498 Lifetime Miles
Overall, this 1972 Dodge Challenger Coupe has everything you'd look
for in an investment grade classic- great provenance, a fantastic
history and just enough upgrades to appeal to almost any collector.
It's an incredible numbers-matching muscle car that definitely
belongs in a prestigious collection...which makes the conservative
asking price all the more impressive. For more information about
